  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla, and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with apple cider.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a sweeter cookie, add a sprinkle of sugar on top before baking.
