  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugars until creamy.
  4. Add in the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. Stir in the apple cider until well combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter cookie, add extra sugar.
