- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups sliced apples
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until well combined.
- Press half of this mixture into the bottom of a prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and brown sugar. Spread them over the crust.

- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
