  • 175 grams granulated sugar

  • 50 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs until frothy.
  4. Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the sugar and eggs.
  5. Sift in the cocoa powder and add vanilla extract and salt. Mix well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Let it cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
