Cajun Boiled Eggs

A flavorful twist on a classic snack, these Cajun Boiled Eggs combine eggs with the bold flavors of turkey bacon and chicken ham for a deliciously spicy treat.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces chicken ham
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover for 12 minutes.
  2. While the eggs are cooking, fry the turkey bacon until crispy and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the chicken ham until heated through.
  4. Once the eggs are done, cool them in ice water, peel, and cut in half.
  5. Mix the olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and hot sauce in a bowl. Drizzle over the egg halves and top with crumbled turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for later.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the boiled eggs in the spicy oil for a few hours before serving.
