  • 1 pound chicken thighs, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, and sesame seeds.
  2. Add the sliced chicken thighs to the bowl and toss to coat well.
  3. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
