  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onions until caramelized.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with thyme, salt, and pepper, then add them to the skillet and brown on both sides.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Top each chicken breast with caramelized onions and crumbled turkey bacon.
  7. Sprinkle Gruyere cheese on top and place in the oven.
