Creamy Garlic Shrimp Over Mashed Potatoes

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash them, adding milk and butter until creamy.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stir, and let it simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
  5. Serve the creamy shrimp over the mashed potatoes, garnished with parsley.

Notes
