A creamy and hearty German goulash made with turkey bacon, perfect for a comforting meal.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 2 cups diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups wide egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add beef broth, tomato paste, paprika, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in egg noodles and reduce heat, simmering until noodles are cooked.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and chopped parsley.
  6. Serve hot with additional parsley for garnish.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Feel free to substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.
