  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic in the bacon drippings until translucent.
  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the uncooked pasta and cook until tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the ricotta cheese until melted.
  6. Top each serving with mozzarella cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
