- 1 pound sausage, casings removed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
