Crème Brûlée French Toast

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Place the slices of bread in a baking dish and pour the egg mixture over them, making sure they are well coated.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Bake the French toast for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
