- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and half of the melted butter to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into equal pieces. Shape into rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let rise again.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix remaining melted butter with garlic and parsley. Brush on top of rolls.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For a cheesy version, add shredded cheese inside the rolls before baking.
