Ground Beef Orzo with Tomato

A delicious and easy-to-make recipe combining ground beef and orzo with a rich tomato sauce.

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then add orzo and reduce heat.
  6. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes or until orzo is tender.
  7. Serve warm.

  • For extra flavor, add parmesan cheese on top before serving.
