Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks

Delicious Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks with a twist of turkey bacon flavor. Perfect for a quick dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 large bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Return the turkey bacon to the skillet, mix well.
  5. Slice hoagie rolls and place the beef mixture inside. Top with provolone cheese.
  6. Broil in the oven until cheese is melted. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add sliced jalapeños.
  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
