- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 large bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Return the turkey bacon to the skillet, mix well.
- Slice hoagie rolls and place the beef mixture inside. Top with provolone cheese.
- Broil in the oven until cheese is melted. Serve hot.
