- 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onions, carrots, and celery until softened.
- Add flour and stir to combine, cooking for another minute.
- Slowly add chicken broth and milk while stirring.
- Add shredded chicken, peas, thyme, and cooked bacon. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Adjust seasonings to taste. Serve warm.
