Ingredients

  • 10 grams instant yeast
  • 10 grams salt
  • 300 ml warm water
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 200 grams jam (your choice)
  • 50 grams powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and sugar, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  6. Shape the risen dough into a rectangle and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough.
  8. Fill each dimple with a spoonful of jam.
  9. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with a little salt.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Let it cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
