Honey Glazed Carrots & Green Beans

A delicious and easy-to-make side dish featuring honey glazed carrots and green beans.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots, sliced
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the carrots.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes, then add the green beans and cook for another 3 minutes.
  3. Drain the vegetables and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add honey and mix well.
  5. Add the cooked carrots and green beans to the pot and stir to coat them in the honey mixture.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg.
  • This dish pairs well with roasted meats.
