  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Irish whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides and no longer pink in the center.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  5. Pour in the Irish whiskey and bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, stirring until well combined.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
