- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
