  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces each)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 12 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef and sausage over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the onion and garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, and noodles; bring to a boil.
