  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  2. Add ground chicken, onion, and garlic to the pot, cooking until browned.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, broth, noodles, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until noodles are tender, about 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in ricotta and mozzarella until melted and combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon and Parmesan cheese.
