Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

A delicious take on the classic meatloaf that incorporates the flavors of a traditional Philly cheesesteak.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté bell peppers, onions, and garlic until softened.
  3. In a bowl, mix together ground beef, sautéed vegetables, breadcrumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Top the meatloaf with shredded provolone cheese.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
