Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined, then add eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in the flour mixture until just combined and pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter, then cover with the remaining brownie batter.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
