  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup pesto
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then place it in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the salmon from the skillet and flake it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Drain the linguine and return it to the pot. Add the pesto and toss to combine.
  6. Gently fold in the flaked salmon and Parmesan cheese.
