Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the prime rib roast.
  4. Let the roast sit at room temperature for about 1 hour.
