  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 package rice paper wrappers
  • 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked

Instructions

  1. In a pan, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Stir in garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar; cook for another minute.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in the Thai basil leaves.
  4. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft.
  5. Place a small amount of the beef mixture and cooked noodles on each wrapper, then roll tightly.
  6. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped chili to the beef mixture.
  • These rolls are best served fresh.
