  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cans black beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Add diced onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño to the pot, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in garlic, chili powder, cumin, and paprika, cooking for another minute.
  5. Add black beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. Stir in the cooked turkey bacon before serving.

  • For more heat, add extra jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Serve with sour cream and shredded cheese for a creamy texture.
