Tiramisu Brownies

Tiramisu Brownies are a decadent twist on the classic dessert, combining rich chocolate brownies with coffee and mascarpone flavors.

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  3. Melt the butter and combine with eggs and vanilla.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined.
  5. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the brownies to cool before adding the tiramisu topping.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, espresso, and coffee liqueur until smooth.
  9. Spread the mascarpone mixture over the cooled brownies.
  10. Chill the brownies in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle cocoa powder on top before serving.
  • These brownies are best served cold.
