Instructions

  1. Cook lentils according to package instructions until tender.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked lentils, sautéed onions and garlic, thyme, sage, black pepper, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Mix until well combined and shape into a loaf.
  5. Place the loaf in a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
