Yaki Udon with Shrimp

A simple and delicious Yaki Udon recipe featuring shrimp, perfect for any occasion.

  • 200 grams udon noodles
  • 200 grams shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, then add the bell peppers and carrots, stirring until tender.
  4. Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil, tossing everything together to combine.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
